Turning Pages
What happens when the page is no longer turning, it simply lingers in the seemingly stagnant air.
Suddenly, in a moment, a gust forces it down.
Empty pages, unwritten lines, all eagerly await the ink of life to be written.
Closing one chapter, beginning the next.
Whether you're ready or not.
Somehow the winds of life say its time, time to flow forward.
And sometimes no matter how battered the written pages feel, they are still more comforting than the unknown lines ahead.
But isn't the fear of the empty page what holds us all into this unhappy discontent world?
What if we all fearlessly and filled with faith allowed the page to turn, feeling the faith that comes in trusting God.
I want to live this chapter with that honest abandon, that fearless determination. I want God to write the pages, and I want to be thankful for every written line.
This life is a gift, and this is my story.
